# What are the PAT standards?

### **WA Law Enforcement/Corrections**

- You must successfully complete the minimum number of correct repetitions for each individual PAT event.
- You must successfully pass each event. Failing one event will constitute a failure of the PAT.
- There are no "maximum scores" for the events.

| #1: Push Ups | 90 seconds | 20 | 15 |
| #2: Sit Ups | 90 seconds | 25 | 12 |
| #3: Squat Thrusts | 3 minutes | 35 | 25 |

 

### **Alaska Law Enforcement**

- A maximum of 80 points is possible. 
- A minimum of 10 points is required for each individual test. 
- You must successfully pass each event. Failing one event will constitute a failure of the Physical Fitness Test Battery (PFTB).

| #1: 300-meter sprint | 77.0 seconds | 48.0 seconds |
| #2: Push Ups (unlimited time) | 21 repetitions | 62 (or more) repetitions |
| #3: Sit Ups  (one minute) | 15 repetitions | 55 (or more) repetitions |
| #4: 1.5 Mile Run | 17 minutes 17 seconds | 9 minutes 57 seconds |

 

### **Idaho Law Enforcement**

- A maximum of 100 points is possible.
- A minimum of 10 points is required for each individual test.
- You must successfully pass each event. Failing one event will constitute a failure of the Physical Fitness Test Battery (PFTB).

| #4: Sit Ups (one minute) | 15 repetitions | 55 (or more) repetitions |
| #5: 1.5 Mile Run | 17 minutes 17 seconds | 9 minutes 57 seconds |
