May I test for agencies from different states?
Yes.
You may take one written exam and one physical ability test and have your test scores sent to any agency we work with - and that you qualify for. While the law enforcement physical ability standards are a bit different among the states, some events are similar (push-ups and sit-ups). On January 1, 2021, the state of Washington dropped the running events and introduced the squat thrust event. Idaho and Alaska police departments still require the running events. Firefighter candidates can take one PST CPAT for all the fire departments we work with. Be sure to carefully review the physical ability standards for each state described in our Information Center.
