How long will it take to test?

For law enforcement and corrections candidates, plan on approximately 7 - 9 hours for both the written and physical ability exams, and come dressed for the PAT. For dispatcher candidates, plan on at least 3 hours for the written exam. For firefighter candidates, plan on approximately 4 - 4.5 hours for the written exam.

Be sure to arrive early for check-in. If you are late for your scheduled test, you will be required to reschedule.
